Pretas

Pretas are the spirits of deceased persons who have been deceitful, greedy, jealous, compulsive and corrupted in another life. They suffer the torment of never being able to satisfy their desires, often tormented by hunger and thirst. These wandering spirits are never at rest and sometimes travel through space and time.
